Manohar Kaul: First Solo Exhibition
All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, New Delhi (1957)
On December 17, 1957, Manohar Kaul held his first solo exhibition at the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS). The show, which ran for ten days, featured a series of watercolours that captured the serene landscapes of Kashmir. These black-and-white archival photographs, taken during the exhibition, provide a rare glimpse into the early work of this masterful landscape painter.

In his 1957 solo debut, Manohar Kaul presented delicate Kashmir watercolors. The exhibition established the spiritual sensitivity and meditative vision that would evolve throughout his career.
